Do you watch the TV Show Reign and ever wondered where the girls get their beautiful head pieces?  A lot of these are by PARIS by Debra Moreland along with other jewelry pieces worn on the show.

ShopYourTV: How did your jewelry get on the TV show Reign? 

Debra Moreland: We did a few pieces for the show, “Hart of Dixie” on the CW Network, which were worn by Jamie King who played “Lemon Breeland” on the series. “Hart of Dixie” Costume Designer, Meredith Markworth-Pollack took us to her new series “Reign”.

ShopYourTV: Have you had any other experiences with your jewelry being on TV Shows or Movies? 

Debra Moreland: A while back we were on, “One Life to Live ” and had a headpiece in a really wonderful Volvo commercial. I have been featured on Oprah, Good Morning America and the Today Show. Also I had a moment on Bam’s Unholy Union doing his fiancé’s accessories.

ShopYourTV: What are some of your favorite pieces worn on the show so far? 

Debra Moreland: I love all my pieces that are on the show but a personal favorite is Elva’s Garden. I make many pieces and give tribute to friends and family that pass away. Elva was my husband’s Grandmother whose heyday was in the 20’s. We talked about her garden the day she passed away and that became the basis for my jumping off point to design.

ShopYourTV: Do you know if you have more upcoming pieces in future Reign episodes? 

Debra Moreland: We have lots more pieces coming this season and I am so excited to see who will be wearing them.

ShopYourTV: How would you describe the pieces the costume department have picked for the show? 

Debra Moreland: The overall feeling of the pieces chosen so far is one of organic Regalia, the beauty and wonder of nature refined for Royalty. They all have a nod to current fashion as well.

ShopYourTV: What inspired these pieces and how are they made? 

Debra Moreland: My inspiration comes from various sources as explained before; Elva’s Garden is a tribute piece. Nero’s Mistress is a Spirall Vine that incorporates muted tones and fantasy flowers. I always want to make the wearers personality emerge with not only the design of the pieces but how the wearer chooses to place the accessory. I am an avid gardener and naturalist who really likes Coco Channel, Grace Kelly, Charles Dickens, Michael Jackson, Edith Head, John Singer Sargent, Broadway Musicals and Audrey Hepburn. Roll that all together and you get an eclectic mix of American design.

Debra Moreland: We can be found in many places including BHLDN and upscale Bridal Shops but some of the pieces created for Reign must be purchased directly from PARIS Studio.
